Young, Wild, & Three

It’s our 3rd anniversary this week! HOOORAY!

Such an exciting time to celebrate and plan our own party! I wasn’t quite sure what theme to go with since you typically don’t have “anniversary themes”, I decided to scroll pinterest and see what 3rd birthday theme I could spin off into our anniversary party. The only theme I kept seeing was “young, wild, and three” but it was with this very childish safari type theme, which is cute for the kiddos, but not quite what I was wanting for our shoot. I ended up deciding on using this theme, but wanted to dress it up, make it a little fancier and a little more feminine. I started working on a mockup for our balloons based around the “young, wild, and three” sign I could make with our cricut. I thought it would be pretty to use some colors we’ve used in the past, but had never actually combined them together. When I made the mockup with those colors I loved the way they looked together, and went with it.

I used the following doublestuffed balloons: rosewood inside matte pink, blush inside white, gold inside leopard print, black inside blush, and empowermint on its own.

Once we got the balloons set up, it was time to add the sign, which everytime I do a large vinyl project I always regret it, haha it ends up being so much harder than I’ve planned for, but it did look cute in the end. One of my incredibly talented employees, Kylee, made our cake, and I ran to Hobby Lobby with my daughter the morning of the shoot to find some floral pieces to add to the cake and to make a little bouquet with. My four year old helped me cut flowers and add them to the cake, and it was just a fun morning we were able to spend together at the store. Those little moments and seeing her cute little hands helping me with projects make my mom heart melt. I’ll link the products we used, but really tried to keep this setup pretty simple!

Let me know if you like this spin-off of young, wild, and three!

xoxo-Leslie
